Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April
27, 1993, this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
Trustee Bosslet informed the Board that a meeting is
scheduled this week with the IAFF Firefighters ' Union. A Federal
Mediator will be present despite the fact that negotiations are
not at an impasse and an economic package has yet to be submitted
by the Union. It was noted that the mediator was the same
mediator used for Police Union negotiations .
As a matter of negotiation with the mediator, the Village
Board discussed eliminating the 15-mile residency requirement.
The consensus of the Board was to take this matter under
advisement if or when it is deemed appropriate during
negotiations .
The meeting adjourned at 8 : 00 p.m.
