Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on
May 18, 1993, this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel
matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager reported that one firefighter wishes to
remain in the Humana Health Chicago HMO even though the health
care plan was scheduled for discontinuance this year. The
Village Manager recommended to continue the plan for the one
firefighter in order to avoid an unfair labor practice charge
against the Village. The continuance of the plan will not affect
the 2% discount in rates offered by HMO Illinois.
The consensus of the Board was to continue participation in
Humana Health Chicago HMO for members of the IAFF Union only.
