Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on November 9, 1993, this Executive Session was called to
consider a litigation matter.

Litigation
The Village President reported of a meeting with Jewel
represenatives to discuss Jewel 's leasehold interest in the Grove
Mall .
It was noted that Jewel and Joe Serfecz are obtaining a fair
market value estimate of the Jewel lease for compensation
negotiations between Jewel and Grove Mall . The Village is in the
process of having the lease appraised as a third party should the
Village proceed with condemnation litigation.
It was noted by the Village Attorney that Jewel is looking
for a means to control the future tenant if they sell the lease.
The meeting adjourned at 9 :35 p.m.
