Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on December 14,1993, this Executive Session was called to
consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village President advised the Board of a meeting between the
Village, Joe Serfecz of the Grove Mall, and Jewel .
As a result of the meeting there are apparent differences in
positions between the parties on the antitrust lawsuit and
leasehold interest in Grove Mall . These differences were not
reconciled at the meeting.
The consensus of the Board was to pursue further the negotiations
with the owner of Grove Mali to resolve this issue.
The meeting adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
