Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 16, 1994, this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: 6194 p Date of approval for release: 2116/94 7:00 p.m. Executive Session Personnel Committee The Personnel Committee discussed the December 29 report issued by the Village Manager. The consensus of the Committee was to recommend the following: 1 . That Merit pay plan employees receive the same general wage increase as Step Pay Pian employees, provided that a level of satisfactory performance is maintained by the employee. In addition, a merit pay allocation for Above Average and Excellent performance be awarded to merit employees but the total amount of the combined general increase and merit allocation would not exceed 6% . 2 . That a management incentive program be established consisting of annual lump sum payments to all merit employees by group. There would be four (4) groups with payments on November 1 of each year in the amounts of $400, $500, $575, and $650. The group classifications are designated in the Village Manager 's report. 3. That a range movement pool of 1 .5% be established for merit pay plan employees. Such range movement amounts would range from 0% to 3% . In addition, the consensus of the Committee was to not recommend increasing the maximum pay range to the 75th percentile of comparable communities. The meeting concluded at 9 p.m.
