Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on July 12, 1994 this Executive Session was called to
consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The consensus of the Board was to exempt the position of
Fire Captain from the authority of the Fire and Police
Commission. in addition, the Fire Chief and Manager will
consider those on the current Fire Captain 's list should an
opening occur (until that list expires in October 1995) before
considering others.
The Village Attorney will prepare the necessary ordinance
for adoption at the July 26 Village Board Meeting. The Fire
and Police Commission and current Fire Captains shall be
notified confidentially of the proposed change prior to the
ordinance being placed on the Agenda.
