Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on July 12, 1994 this Executive Session was called to
consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney updated the Board on the status of
condemnation proceedings against the Grove Mall . A
preliminary appraisal of the property indicates that the
shopping center is worth between $5.2 to 6 million. The next
step in the process is to prepare an offer to purchase the
center based upon a final appraisal . The final appraisal is
expected to be complete by mid August .
The consensus of the Board was to have the Village
Attorney proceed in preparing the final appraisal . The
Village Board will discuss whether to proceed with acquiring
the Jewel lease or the entire shopping center upon receiving
the final appraisal .
The meeting adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
