Rettberg - Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 12, 1994 this Executive Session was called to consider a litigation matter. The attorney noted the Mc Donald's is looking for several concessions in exchange for the taking of land. Mc Donald's wishes to have a new monument sign placed on top of a berm, including a cash payment of $10,000 for the sign to be relocated; two small arch signs placed under the' roof and a freestanding sign near the new signalized entrance. The freestanding sign will advertise the entire center, including Mc Donald's. it was noted that a variation will be needed for the monument sign. Jewel has agreed to execute the land dedication request and grant cross access easements between it. and the vacant 7.9 parcel to the west. This is subject to certain restrictions being placed on the use of the vacant property. In addition, discussions are still ensuing with LaSalle Bank and Pizza Hut. The consensus of the Committee was to approve of the concessions for McDonald's as noted. The meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
