Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on August 23, 1994 this Executive Session was called to
consider a land acquisition matter.

LAND ACQUISITION
Trustee Tosto updated the Village Board on his
discussions with the owner of the Busse Farm on Oakton.
The owner will sell approximately 1 .5 acres of property
along Oakton from the Commonwealth Edison Right-Of-Way on the
West to the far side of Bonnie Lane extended on the east . The
asking price for the property is $5.00 per square foot .
The consensus of the Board was to accept the price of
$5.00 per square foot, subject to the Village ensuring the
site can be utilized as a fire station. This will include
soil borings; preparing a building foot print to ensure a fire
station will fit on the property with proper parking;
ingress/egress and turn around capacity for fire trucks; and
that the sleeping quarters can be located as far west as
possible away from the high power lines.
