Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on February 28, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager brought the Village Board up-to-date
on the status of negotiations with the Police Union. The
Village Manager stated that the Union had rejected the
Village 's "off-the-record" offer which was previously made.
The Village Manager recommended that the Village Board remove
the offer and consequently continue in arbitration. He also
requested that the Village Board make a decision regarding the
fourth letter to residents regarding the Police Union
negotiations.
Upon further discussion, the consensus of the Village
Board was as follows:
-- to remove the Village 's "off-the-record" offer from
the Police Union negotiations;
-- to not send the fourth letter regarding Police Union
negotiations to Village residents.
The meeting adjourned at 11 :10 p.m.
