Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on May 23, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
Purita Mackey Home Day Care - 725 Arizona Pass
The Village President stated that he had received several
letters in opposition to the closing of Purita Mackey's
day-care operations. In addition, he stated that Mackey has
hired an attorney and is threatening litigation against the
Village.
The Village Attorney recommended that the Village issue a
probationary license which can be revoked if further
violations are found. While under probation, the operation
will be subject to inspection by the Village.
After further discussion, the consensus of the Committee
was for the Village Attorney to negotiate the following terms:
-- the Village will issue a probationary license to
Mrs. Mackey. Mrs. Mackey must catalog her
absences from the premises and her license will
be revoked if she is absent without just cause;
and,
-- the Village will maintain its right to inspect
the operation as it sees fit .
The meeting adjourned at 8:14 p.m.
