Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on July 25, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up to date
on the status of negotiations with Grove Mall . The Village
Attorney stated that he was nearing completion of a settlement
for purchase of the property in the amount of $6. 15 million as
authorized by the Village Board.
The Village Attorney stated that he was currently working
on a consent decree which would outline the rights of the
existing tenants and require all compensation to the existing
tenants to be the responsibility of the Grove Mall with the
exception of the Jewel lease.
The Village President stated that he had contacted
Professor Anton C. Nelessen and arranged a meeting to discuss
the "town square" concept on August 8, 1995 at 2 p.m.
President Gallitano indicated that the Village Attorney,
Village Manager, and Director of Engineering and Community
Development would also be in attendance.
The meeting adjourned at 10:39 p.m.
