Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on September 11, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Board met to discuss the civilianization of the
Fire Prevention and the privatization of Pre-Fire operations.
The approach offered by the Fire Department was presented.
Upon discussion, it was the consensus of the Village Board to
civilianize the Fire Prevention operation as part of the FY
1997 budgeting process.
In addition, staff was authorized to implement the
privatization of the pre-fire planning function this current
fiscal year in order to eliminate manual drawing of plans and
begin digitizing bureau information .
Hireback personnel will be notified of the operational changes.
The meeting adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
