Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on September 11, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The causes of the overtime usage by the Fire Department
during the past fiscal year were outlined and discussed.
Because a significant amount was caused by disability issues
with extended rehabilitation periods (specific individuals
were discussed) it was recommended that the Fire Department be
allowed to monitor the overtime usage. This evaluation will
better identify how current overtime trends may effect the
dollars used this year and help to determine if the hiring of
additional personnel would be cost effective.
Upon discussion, the consensus of the village Board was
to allow further evaluation of overtime usage and to readdress
the issue in the future on an as-needed basis.
