Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on September 11, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
Trustee Petri and the Village Manager reviewed the
Information Systems Committee recommendation to retain ITG as
"in-house" computer consultants through April 1996 and to
create a full-time network engineer position.
President Gallitano expressed an interest in the creation
of a new computer information systems department which would
be supervised by a Chief Information Officer (CIO) or
Management Information Systems (MIS) Director.
Upon further discussion, the consensus of the Village
Board was as follows:
-- to extend the Village 's contract with ITC through
April 30, 1996;
-- to have staff research and provide information on the
MIS Director (CIO) position to the Information
Systems Committee for further discussion and
recommendation to the Village Board. This will
include a review of a job description, salary
information and total costs to create a department .
-- consider creating a network engineer position after
deciding upon the Director's position.
