Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on September 26, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Manager informed the Village Board that
Village on the Lake Condominiums had recently restriped their
parking lot without a permit, which resulted in a deficient
amount of parking spaces for the site. The Village Manager
stated that this deficiency was being challenged in court by
residents of Village on the Lake who feel that a reasonable
accommodation is needed for more handicapped spaces. Village
on the Lake meets our handicap space requirements.
The consensus of the Village Board was to have the
Village Attorney contact Village On The Lake 's attorney and to
inform him of their options in this matter which are as
follows:
-- restripe the parking lot and bring it up to Village
Code or face enforcement litigation by the Village;
or,
-- petition the Village for a variation to the zoning
ordinance.
The meeting adjourned at 9 :39 p.m.
