Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on October 24, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager noted that the Police Department
currently has five (5) Police officers off duty or on light
duty due to injury. In addition, one officer may retire prior
to May 1 , 1996.
As a result, the Police Department is requesting to
increase their authorized strength by one officer on a
temporary basis, until a vacancy occurs due to the fact that
the Fire & Police Commission list expires as of October 31 ,
1995 .
Upon discussion, the consensus of the Board was to
increase the authorized strength of Police Officers by one
officer on a temporary basis. This item will appear under new
business at the Village Board meeting immediately following
the Executive Session.
