Lissner Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on November 14, 1995 this Executive Session was called to consider a litigation matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: January 1996 Date of approval for release: 11 /14/95 10:05 p.m. LITIGATION The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up to date on matters regarding the Grove Mall condemnation litigation. The Village Manager stated that the Southland Corporation is seeking permission to perform minor improvements to their Citgo/7-11 store in order to increase their revenue stream. The Village Manager recommended the Village Board approve the minor changes subject to executing an agreement with Southland Corporation requiring them to remodel the facility to be consistent with the redevelopment of the mall . The Village Attorney stated that Ron Zamarin will be filing a motion to dismiss the Serfecz lawsuit against the Village in the near future. In addition, Special Counsel Ryan had some preliminary discussions with the Grove Mall attorney about settling the Condemnation litigation. Upon further discussion, it was the consensus of the Village Board to authorize the Village Attorney to negotiate an agreement with the Southland Corporation to have their renovations be architecturally compatible with the conceptual redevelopment of the shopping center. The meeting adjourned at 10:24 p.m.
