Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on November 14, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney and Assistant Village Manager
brought the Village Board up to date on the status of
negotiations with Ameritech to permit the installation of a
pass-through fiber-optic cable television line in Village
rights-of way.
The Assistant Village Manager stated that the Village
could potentially receive compensation in the amount of
$12,500, which represents 2 .5% of the construction costs, and
$. 50 per lineal foot of existing conduit. The Village
Attorney recommended that the Village Board continue
negotiations with Ameritech and pursue passage of an agreement
prior to the adoption of the Model Telecommunications
ordinance.
Upon further discussion it was the consensus of the
Village Board to authorize the Village staff to continue
negotiations with Ameritech and to provide the Village Board
with a status report prior to the next Village Board meeting
so that an agreement may be adopted if necessary.
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
