Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority
vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and
Board of Trustees on 11-14-95, this Executive Session was called to
consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel - Fire Negotiations
The Village Manager informed the Village Board that Fire Union
negotiations will be beginning shortly and requested authorization to
offer to enter into negotiations without legal representation as long
as the Fire Union would negotiate without legal representation. The
Village Manager stated that the Village would utilize attorneys at the
bargaining table if the Fire Union did the same.
Upon further discussion, it was the consensus of the Village Board to
authorize an offer of "no attorneys" prior to entering negotiations
with the Fire Union.
The meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m.
