Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on December 12, 1995 this Executive Session was called to
consider a Litigation matter.

Litigation
The Village Manager brought the Village Board up to
date on the status of the Foreign Fire Insurance escrow
fund.
The Village Manager stated that the agreement reached
in Springfield between the State Legislature and the Fire
Unions was that all existing escrow accounts were to be
utilized for the benefit of the fire department with the
local firefighters being provided the opportunity to
discuss the utilization of the funds.
The consensus of the Committee was for the Village
Manager to provide options to the Fire Department's Foreign
Fire Insurance Committee regarding the disposition of the
Village's Foreign Fire Insurance money. The failure to seek
their input could result in litigation.
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 p.m.
