Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 12, 1996, this
Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager presented a draft resolution which
would approve the arbitrator's final award. The consensus
of the Committee was to approve the arbitrator's award by
resolution. In addition, the Village Board reviewed and
discussed the draft press release regarding the arbitrator's
award in the Police Union negotiations. Upon discussion, it
was the consensus of the Village Board to approve the press
release subject to the removal of the words "around the
clock" in reference to police protection.
The Village Manager stated that copies of the press
release would be distributed to the press and made available
upon passage of the resolution accepting the arbitrator's
award at the March 12, 1996 Village Board meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
