Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 12, 1996, this
Executive Session was called to consider a litigation/land acquisition matter.

LITIGATION/LAND ACQUISITION
The Village Attorney stated that he was negotiating the
final details for the purchase of the Grove Mall property
and that an agreement may be reached prior to the March 26,
1996 Village Board meeting.
The Village Attorney stated that he was also working on
the TIF calculations and how much of the purchase price for
the property would be covered by the TIF bond issue. The
Illinois General Assembly is considering legislation to
eliminate new TIF districts.
Upon further discussion, it was the consensus of the
Village Board to proceed with the TIF process by engaging
the necessary bond firm and planning consultants.
The meeting adjourned at 8: 07 p.m.
