Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 26, 1996, this
Executive Session was called to consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up to
date on the status of the lawsuit filed against the Village
by Tyrone Cefalu. The Village Attorney stated that Cefalu's
attorney was seeking to depose all members of the Village
Board as of the time the incident occurred. The Village
Attorney stated that our Special Counsel was opposing the
motion to depose and that it would likely be dismissed.
The Village Attorney stated that Special Counsel is in
the process of preparing the Village's defense and that he
will keep the Village Board updated on the status of the
lawsuit.
To date, Cefalu has rejected all settlement offers.
The litigation is likely to proceed to trial .
