Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 26, 1996, this
Executive Session was called to consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up to
date on the status of the Grove Mall condemnation
litigation. The Village Attorney stated that he is working
with Chapman & Cutler to formulate the financing structure
for the purchase of the Grove Mall property. In that regard,
the Village Attorney stated that it is necessary to
authorize a bond issue of $3, 000, 000.
The Village Attorney stated that Serfecz may sign a
settlement agreement prior to the next Village Board meeting
on April 9. If so, the Village Attorney stated that he
would like to meet with the Village Board in Executive
Session to discuss the agreement prior to the Village Board
meeting that evening.
Upon further discussion, it was the consensus of a
Village Board to tentatively schedule an Executive Session
at 6: 00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, pending the resolution of
a settlement agreement.
The meeting adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
