Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 13, 1996
Executive Session was called to consider a litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney stated that a lawsuit has been
threatened but not filed against the Village in regards to
the traffic incident involving the Village President in the
apprehension of a Schaumburg youth. The Village Attorney
recommended that the Village Board make no comment on the
issue due to existing criminal litigation against the youth.
It was the consensus of the Village Board to concur
with the Village Attorney's recommendation.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
