Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees
on 10-2-91 this Executive Session was called to consider a
litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up-to-date on
the litigation surrounding the WBBM radio tower relocation.
Village lawsuits are still pending against IDOT and the
Army Corps of Engineers. The FCC has ruled that CBS did not
provide an adequate environmental assessment and failed to
document the locations of alternative sites. CBS has 30 days to
address those issues.
Karriganis received an indication from CBS that it is
willing to open settlement discussions.
The consensus of the Committee was not to initiate any
discussions regarding a settlement; however, should CBS clearly
initiate a willingness to negotiate, then the Village Attorney
can lis+ en to their offer.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
