WBBM RADIO TOWER RELOCATION
The Village Attorney brought the Board up-to-date
on the litigation surrounding the relocation of the WBBM
Radio Tower.
The FCC granted CBS an extension to amend its
application by identifying alternative sites examined
by CBS for a tower location. The application must be
amended by Monday, November 25, 1991 or else the pending
application lapses.
Special Counsel Karriganis will be working more closely
with Village Attorney Knickerbocker regarding this
litigation. A settlement meeting is scheduled with CBS
for the first week of December.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
