C Number of pages attached: 1 Il" Date(s) of review for release: July 1992 Date of approval for release: Biesterfield Road Litigation The Village Attorney noted that Elk Grove has never formally been served the complaint on the Tierney v. Schaumburg and Elk Grove Village lawsuit; therefore, technically, the Village is not involved in the litigation and has no standing for taking action on the case. The Village of Schaumburg has been served and its case is pending. The consensus of the Commmittee was for the Village Attorney to respond to a letter received from our insurance carrier regarding coverage of the Village's exposure.
