Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees
on this Executive Session was called to consider a

WBBM RADIO TOWER RELOCATION
The Village Attorney reported that he and Special
Counsel Raraganis met with attorneys from CBS to discuss a
possible settlement.
The Village Attorney reported that CBS is considering
the following:
1) Establishing a 24-hour hotline to receive complaints
about interference and guaranteeing a response within
24 hours.
2) If a medical panel determines that the radio tower is
producing excessive amounts of electromagnetic
radiation, WBBM will reduce the antenna's power to an
acceptable level until the problem is repaired. If the
problem cannot be repaired, WBBM will relocate the
antenna upon the expiration of its license with the FCC
(7 years maximum).
3) Contributing a one-time, lump sum monetary payment to
Elk Grove to resolve all of the Village's remaining
concerns (legal expenses, medical exams, resident's
moving expenses, etc.). The amount of the payment has
yet to be determined.
CBS' attorneys are to follow up with a written stance
on their response to the issues noted above.
