Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees
on March 10, 1992 , this Executive Session was called to consider a
Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney reported the following status of
the WBBM Radio Tower litigation:
1 ) A Federal Court Judge issued a summary judgment
dismissing the Village' s lawsuit. The Judge did not agree that
a Presidential Executive Order has the effect of law.
2) The Village received a draft settlement offer
from CBS which had no substance, was self-serving,and did
not include dollar amounts.
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
1 ) Appeal the ruling of the Federal Court; and
2) Continue to pursue a settlement with CBS and
request that they provide an offer which addresses all issues
previously discussed with CBS.
The meeting was adjourned at 11 : 30 p.m.
