Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a
regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on
April 3, 1993, this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel
matter.

Personnel
The Executive Session was reconvened from March 23, 1993 .
Wages & Salaries
The consensus of the Committee was to authorize wage and
salary increases for FY 199-3-94 as recommended by the Village
Manager. The increases were authorized as follows:
-- To grant $21 ,473 (Corporate) and $3,923 (Water & Sewer)
in market adjustments to certain step-plan
classifications as reflected in the step-pay plan ranges
included in the March 26, 1993 memo from the Village
Manager.
-- To grant a 3.5% value increase to specific rate and
step-plan classifications as recommended in the March
26, 1993 memo from the Village Manager.
-- To grant merit increases as recommended by the Village
Manager in the February 26, 1993 memo by the Village
Manager, which includes a 4 .5% pool of funds for merit
salary adjustments of 0% to 5.5% to merit employees
based upon performance; and
-- Advance merit pay ranges (minimum and maximum) 4%.
In addition, the Committee reconfirmed the consensus reached
at the March 23 Executive Session as follows:
-- The Secretarial positions serving the Village President
and Village Manager- are eligible for an additional $100
per month;
-- The salary for the Fire Chief will be increased 8% for
FY 1992-93; and,
-- The changes in authorized strength will be made per the
Board's consensus on March 23.
