Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on July 13, 1993, this Executive Session was called to
consider a personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village Manager noted the need to temporarily increase
the number of Police Sergeant positions from 14 to 15 in order to
prepare for the retirement of Commander Salvatore on August 6,
1993. The temporary increase will avoid the delay of preparing a
new eligibility list before a new Sergeant could be hired.
The consensus of the Committee was to consider this item as
New Business at the 7113/93 Village Board meeting.
