Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at
a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of
Trustees on February 8, 1994, this Executive Session was called to
consider a land acquisition matter.

LAND ACQUISITION
The Village President reported on discussions he has had with
Alexian Brothers Medical Center (ABMC) to construct a mixed use
senior housing complex/retail center on the vacant 7. 8 acre
parcel just west of Elk Crossing.
The property has been posted for sale at Public Auction on
February 19 at I p.m. Alexian Brothers Medical Center cannot
organize itself to acquire the land given the short time period
before the auction.
The Village Board discussed whether the Village should bid on
the property at the auction. The consensus of the Board was to
not bid on the property, but send a representative to the auction
to gauge interest in the property and prices offered for the land.
The meeting adjourned at 10 p.m.
