Petri Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 8, 1994, this Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: 6/94 -\/ Date of approval for release: ��h 318194 10:21 p.m. PERSONNEL The consensus of the Board was to accept in concept the recommendation from the Personnel Committee on the compensation of merit employees for fiscal year 1994-95. That recommendation is as follows: 1 . That Merit pay plan employees receive the same general wage increase as Step-Pay Plan employees, provided that a level of satisfactory performance is maintained by the employee. In addition, a merit pay allocation based upon performance be awarded to merit employees in an amount up to 2.5% more than the general increase. 2 . That a management incentive program be established consisting of annual lump sum payments to all merit employees by group. There would be four (4) groups with payments on November 1 of each year in the amounts of $400, $500, $575, and $650. The group classifications are designated in the Village Manager 's report. 3 . That a range movement pool of 1 . 5% be established for merit pay plan employees. Such range movement amounts would range from 0% to 3°%. 4 . Do not increase the maximum pay range to the 75th percentile of comparable communities. The Village Manager will use this guide when preparing his wage and salary recommendation for the Village Board. The meeting adjourned at 10:34 p.m.
