scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 14,2003 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
The Village Attorney reported that he had consulted with outside counsel regarding a suit
against the Fire and Police Commission. After discussing whether to settle or defend this
suit, the consensus of the Board was to defend the suit.
