PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 11,2003 this Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: December 2003 Date of approval for release: COPY 2/11/03 6:45 p.m. Litigation The Village Manager reported that he is meeting with an attorney specializing in annexation issues to discuss the annexation attempts of Mt. Prospect and Des Plaines to annex land west of I-90. The Manager noted that if Des Plaines is successful in annexing up to the east side of the expressway, Mt. Prospect will be blocked from annexing the Days Inn Hotel. If Elk Grove is successful in annexing 1`IICOR right-of-way, both other communities would be blocked from annexing west of 1-90. The attorney would also research involuntary annexation of other non-residential parcels. The meeting ended at 6:49 p.m.
