Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 8, 2003 this Executive Session
was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
Purchase of Real Estate—Berthold Property
The Village Mayor reported that the unincorporated Berthold 8 acres on Devon was being
placed on the market along with the adjoining incorporated 2-acre parcel. The 10 acres is
being marketed for residential townhomes.
The consensus of the Village Board was to not make an offer on the property and to advise
the seller that the Village desires commercial development on the property.
