PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 8. 2003 this Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: December 2003 Date of approval for release: COPY Y 4/08/03 .7:40 p.m. Litigation SOC Lawsuits The Mayor reported that Park Ridge had 5 elected officials turn-over and they may no longer be a funding partner in our lawsuits to prevent O'Hare Expansion. The Village's Disconnection Ordinance defense of the suit filed by Chicago will be heard in court this Thursday. In addition, an attorney for SOC has sent a letter to the Daily Herald outlining a libel case due to a column authored by their columnist, Jack Mabley. Their attorney believes this is a very strong case and is demanding an apology. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
