Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 15 .2003 this
Executive Session was called to consider a personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager discussed a proposal from John Gullo on behalf of the Sister Cities
group to hire a business liaison to facilitate business development between regions of
Italy and Elk Grove Village. Mr. Gullo submitted the resumes of three individuals for
consideration. The consensus of the Board was to not consider the creation of a Village
position for this purpose, and to bring up the matter for discussion at the July 21 Sister
City meeting.
