Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 23 ,2004 this Executive Session
was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
Mayor Johnson questioned what the Elk Grove Park District's position was regarding their
participation in the Village's health insurance program. Human Resources Coordinator,Dick
Olson, noted that the Park District has until April 5, 2004 to make a decision on whether or
not they are going to participate. He noted that the Park District is considering four(4)
different alternatives,but that their decision will have no affect on the Village's plan.
After further discussion, the consensus of the Village Board was to approve the Health
Insurance renewals;provide employees with a full explanation of the cost of all benefits and
provide employees participating in the HMO program with a listing of how to obtain a
referral.
