Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 13,2004 this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The chairman of the Personnel Committee referred to a memo from the Fire &Police
Commission. It was the consensus of the Village Board to follow the recommendation of the
Fire &Police Commission and direct the Village Attorney to prepare the necessary ordinances
regarding the changes in the hiring practice for paramedics and the implementation of a$20
application fee for all Fire &Police applicants.
This information will be presented at the upcoming Village Board meeting.
