Proposed Cellular Tower at the Public Works Facility(666 Landmeier)
Following a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Committee to allow the construction
of a 100' cellular tower and equipment shelter at the Public Works Facility located at 666
Landmeier Road.
Outstanding Financial Obligations Owed to the Village
Following a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Committee to approve the Village
Attorney and Finance Director's recommendation that any applicant applying for a permit,
business license,building permit, or real estate transfer stamp be required to pay any existing
financial obligation to the Village prior to being eligible to receive the license, permit or
transfer stamp that they are seeking.
ADA Standards for Sidewalks
Following a lengthy discussion,the consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• Check with IDOT to inquire if the Village can change the colors being used by the State at
their intersections; and
• Use a greenish color to differentiate the handicap accessible sidewalk ramps from the
adjacent portion of sidewalk.
Racial Traffic Study
Following a presentation from Roy Lucke, of Northwestern University's Center for Public
Safety, it was determined that the Elk Grove Police Department does not engage in racially
biased traffic stops.
