Pledge of Allegiance 3. Approval of Minutes of September 27, 2005 4. Mayor and Board of Trustees'Report S. Accounts Payable Warrant: September 30,2005 /$454,495.07 October 11,20051 $415,724.15 6. CONSENT AGENDA A) Consideration of a request (attached) from Alexian Brothers Medical Center to waive permit fees in the amount of $14,568.50 for their North Wimmer Corridor construction project at 800 Biesterfield Road. (This permit covers the first phase of the Ambulatory Mall construction. (It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers to Alexian Brothers Medical Center.. (A report from the Director of Engineering and Community Development, recommending approval, is attached.) B) Consideration to grant a variation from the Village Code, Section 8-1211-1-1D, "Easements", to permit the construction of a shed which will encroach two feet (2') into a five foot(5')public utility easement on the east side and two feet(2') into a ten foot (10') public utility easement on the south side of the lot at 261 Clearmont Drive. (The property owners are seeking a variation to construct a shed within a public utility easement. ComEd, Nicer Gas, SBC, and Comcast have written letters granting permission to encroach upon the easement. (The Engineering staff has field checked this location for conflicts with Village-owned utilities within the easement, found no Village-owned utilities in the easement, and have no indication that the Village will be utilizing this easement in the future. (A report from the Director of Engineering & Community Development, recommending approval, is attached.) Agenda for VB Meeting 10-11-05 2 C) Consideration of the following: /I To adopt Resolution No-,5a-0!5__(attached) approving the Plat of Subdivision ln de0 identified as Castletown Subdivision; and 1�p016 • To adopt Ordinance No. 3060 (attached) granting certain variations for a v" (� proposed 9 lot residential Caslletown Subdivision located at 325 Landmeier k r��1 Road. (This subdivision request has gone before the Zoning Board of Appeals, Plan Commission, and JPZ. (This variation will permit the Floor Area Ratio for this development to be 0.43. (Additional considerations for this development were that the developer provide a cash donation for value of sidewalk on the east side of the new street, create a homeowners association to maintain lot 9 and require that the developer advise new homeowners of the association requirement, and rename the street Castle Drive. (This item was discussed at the September 27, 2005 Village Board meeting and currently appears on the Agenda under Unfinished Business of the Village Attorney.) D) Consideration to adopt Resolution No. ,5A-eS (attached) determining the appropriateness for Class 6B status pursuant to the Cook County Real Property 0-0 Classification Ordinance as amended January 1, 2000 for certain real estate 1`e be[ located at 200 Scott Street. (American Cargo is intending on purchasing and renovating the 18,000 square foot facility. (Once occupied, full-time jobs will be created in addition to the company's five existing jobs. (Eligibility requirements for 6B status are new construction, substantial renovation or purchase of buildings that have been vacant for a period of time. This qualifies since this has been vacant for a period of time. (The 6B property tax incentive allows a property tax assessment reduction from 36%to 16%of fair market value for a twelve-year period.
