SUBJECT: Statutory Change Study
By mid-August the Northwest Municipal Conference is desirous of
starting to prepare a presentation to the Illinois Problems Commission
which will meet in Des Plaines in November.
From time to time I have suggested to you areas in which we should
try to change State statutes to provide for better administrative prac-
tices in our Village of Elk Grove Village.
Offhand I can think of the Illinois Police and Fire Act, the fire and
Police Commission, the Elk Grove Village Community Services Board.
Please get your request for statutory change suggestions to me on or
before August 10th so I can prepare a presentation to the officers of
the Northwest Municipal Conference.
