Last night I requested your Committee to prepare a report for me which
I can present to the Northwest Municipal Conference relative to what-
ever changes we would like to see made in State statutes at the next
biennium. I also asked the Village Manager, the Village Attorney, the
Village Engineer and the Fir* and Polio* Chiefs to prepare a similar
suggestion sheet relative to what changes we would like to see.
It is the desire of the Northwest Municipal Conference when the Illinois
Legislative Problems Commission meets in Des Plaines in November to
present our cases through one spokesman rather than ten spokesmen.
The Northwest Municipal Conference is desirous of having our recom-
mendations prior to August 15th.
