The Judiciary, Planning and Zoning Committee met with Village
Attorney Hofert and Mr. Rolf Campbell , of Tec-Search, Monday
evening, May 8th.
The meeting consisted of a discussion of the Proposed Zoning
Ordinance as presented by Tec-Search, the Village's Plan Con-
sultants.
The conclusion reached was that a Planned Unit Development
ordinance, amending Ordinance 20, will be presented to the
President and Board of Trustees at the regular meeting on
May 23rd.
If the President and Board of Trustees accept the suggested
amendment, the amendment will be referred to the Plan Com-
mission to conduct a public hearing on the amendment.
It was, agreed that the present Ordinance 20 provides adequate
control of zoning, for the time being, with the exception of
provision for planned unit type of development.
The Committee will present its recommendation for a compre-
hensive revision of Ordinance 20, as amended, at a later date.
