Subject: Resignation
I hereby resign from the Judiciary, Planning and Zoning Committee.
I was replaced as Chairman of this committee because of a purported
"conflict of interest". It is obvious that any recommendations or
actions I would have as a member of this committee would be received
in a similar light.
Further, I disagree with the task assigned the Judiciary, Planning
and Zoning Committee of preparing a new zoning ordinance, including
a Planned Unit Development section.
The Villagers planning conEultantS were paid x'27,000 to prepare a
Master Plan, a major portion of which is a new zoning ordinance.
Today, five years after the employment of these consultants, a new
zoning ordinance Is not reedy for enactment.
