VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
JUDICIARY, PLANNING & ZONING COMMITTEE
Monday, May 2, 1983
The Judiciary, Planning & Zoning Committee, as called by Chairman Petri
at the regular Village Board Meeting on April 26, 1983, convened at 7:00
P.M. , May 2, 1983 in the Trustees Conference Room of the Municipal Building,
901 Wellington Avenue.
Members Present: James Petri, Chairman
Joseph Bosslet
Edward Hauser
Staff Present: George C. Coney, Director of Finance
Leonard J. Flood, Asst Director of Finance
The following topic was discussed:
Economic Development
The Committee reviewed materials received by Mr. George Coney and Mr. Leonard
Flood, from Mr. Hank Tonigan of Profile Publications, Crystal Lake, Illinois.
The materials consisted of booklets, maps and other descriptive literature
which had been prepared by Mr. Tonigan's company for other communities across
the country for economic development promotions.
The Committee agreed to meet with Mr. Tonigan on Tuesday, May 17, 1983, to
discuss what approaches are available to the Committee in this area. The
Committee further directed Mr. Coney to attempt to arrange a meeting with
Mr. Howard G. Krafsur of Bennett and Kuhnweiler Associates to discuss his
views on economic development in Elk Grove Village. Mr. Coney was to confirm
these appointments and advise the Committee.
Chairman Petri adjourned the meeting at 8:30 P.M.
