The meeting was called by Chairman Jim Petrie at 8:13 p.m.
Discussion established that all Trustees present have not read all of the
transcripts from the Public Hearings for the Text Amendment and the
Special Use permit for Just Pants Inc.
Just Pants Inc. are presently operating out of two locations, one
near the loop in Chicago and another on Rand Road in Des Plaines. They
wish to establish one location in Elk Grove Village on Bonaventure Drive
for their corporate headquarters and warehouse and retail outlet.
Attorney Geroge Knickerbocker reviewed his letter of June 5th
to the Plan Commission on the revised proposed Text Amendment. The 8
items were discussed and questions were raised concerning:
1. Storage
2. 407 of structure for warehousing and distribution.
3. Screening of loading docks.
The Committee then discussed the proposed site plan and it relation-
ship to the proposed text.
1. The abutting residential owner did not object nor did the
owner of the Day Care Center on Bonaventure Drive.
2. The accesibility of the proposed loading dock (angle necessary to
back in or pull out) .
3. Plan Commission did not require a traffic study.
4. Did this require garbage and refuse to be stored inside. Ordinance
requires closed containers but they can be outside.
5. Site plan showed more than 407 for warehousing (Just Pants Inc.
stated they would limit warehouse to 407, it was sufficient for
their use) .
6. Defines what can be done.
7. A period should be placed after Plan Commission on fourth line
and remainder of sentence deleted.
8. No problem.
